GENERAL INFORMATION AND INSTRUCTIONS FOR LOCAL AGENT VACANT POSTS
 
1. The Delegation of the European Union to Turkey has the following Local Agent vacancy in administrative or technical duties posts (Group III) in the following area:
2. Salaries are dependent on the relevant previous professional experience for the post in question based on the existing salary scale. Gross salary is paid, from which the appropriate SSK deductions will be made by the Delegation. Successful candidates are liable for their own income tax. Salaries are paid in euro.
3. The vacancies will be filled as soon as possible following the completion of recruitment procedures.
4. Job descriptions are to be found under the correspondent post number.
5. Contracts will be given initially for a period of one year, including a 2 month probationary period, with the possibility of extension.
6. Each candidate must provide the following;
  • Letter of motivation in English
  • Curriculum vitae in English preferably using the standard form given with this notice.
  • Photocopies of diplomas or other documents showing qualifications as set out in the curriculum vitae
  • A minimum of three references (names, positions and telephone/fax /e mail addresses), one or all of whom may be contacted by the Delegation.
  • Letters of recommendation may be substituted for up to two of the above.
The successful candidates will be asked to provide documents showing previous professional experience as set out in the curriculum vitae

8. The selection procedure will be based on the following:

  • Examination of the documents received.
  • The Selection Committee will establish a short-list.
  • The short listed candidates will either be invited directly for an interview or to a written test followed by interview.
  • Where no suitable candidate has been identified following interview, the position will be re-published.
Please be informed that only short-listed candidates will be informed of the result of the selection process
