Europa Nostra Awards 2008- Deadline for Entries: 15 September

Over the past 5 years, Europa Nostra, the representative platform of over 220 NGOs active throughout Europe , has been running the EU Prize for Cultural Heritage in the context of the European Commission’s Culture 2000 programme. The “Europa Nostra Awards” are granted annually to identify and promote best practices in the conservation of tangible cultural heritage, to stimulate the exchange of knowledge and experience throughout Europe , to enhance public awareness and appreciation of European cultural heritage, and to encourage further exemplary initiatives through the Power of Example.
