EU Commissioner for Enlargement Olli Rehn paid a two-day visit to Turkey on 4-5 June 2007. Commissioner Rehn attended the high-level conference Turkey and the EU: Together for a European Energy Policy in Istanbul. Olli Rehn made an important speech in the conference entitled Why Turkey and the EU need each other: co-operating on energy and other strategic issues.
