EU and Turkey open new chapter in accession negotiations
The European Union and Turkey opened the chapter on “taxation” in the accession negotiations. The new chapter was opened during the seventh meeting of the accession conference between Turkey and the EU held on 30 June in Brussels.
Since the start of the negotiations, eleven chapters have been opened, of which one has been provisionally closed.
