Turkish Journalist wins the Anna Lindh Foundation Prize

Ms. Vercihan Ziflioglu from Turkey has been awarded the Anna Lindh Foundation Journalistic Prize for her series of articles, entitled “Arts and Dialogue in Turkey”. In the series of articles, the journalist demonstrates, through successful projects in Turkey, that arts remain a powerful tool in promoting dialogue between different communities living together in Anatolia. The articles of Ziflioglu were published in the Turkish Daily News in June 2007.

Anna Lindh Foundation’s Journalist Prize aims to encourage exceptional articles that promote better understanding between people living across the Mediterranean. This year, the winners of the prize are from Belgium, Israel, Slovenia and Turkey.
