A new grant scheme has been launched under the Strengthening Civil Society in Turkey initiative. This grant scheme primarily aims at supporting the small-scale projects of local NGOs working on grass-roots level. The target group of the project is small and medium-scale local non-governmental organizations facing constraints in administrative issues, cooperation, networking, funding and international dialogue. However for the first priority area NGOs working on the national level will be encouraged to develop projects aiming to build integrated approach to the civil society.

The reference for the call for proposals is CFCU/TR 0604.05/02 and the deadline for receipt of applications is 09 May 2008.
