Europe's biggest research event for information and communication technologies to be held in November '08

Europe's biggest ICT (information and communication technologies) Research event is going to take place on 25-27 November 2008 in Lyon. The event, which is organised every two years, is the most important forum for discussing research and public policy in information and communication technologies at the European level.

The ICT event is organised by the European Commission's Directorate General for the Information Society and Media and it brings together researchers, innovators, policy and business decision-makers working in the field of digital technologies. Approximately 4,000 - 5,000 delegates are expected to attend the event.

There are three opportunities to participate in the ICT 2008:

Conference: Visionary speakers and high-level panel members from industry, business, public policy and ICT sciences.

Exhibition: Cutting-edge developments from European research labs, from the French and international industry. Call for exhibits is now open.

Networking: To help researchers identify future research themes and find research partners.
