Visually impaired individuals are learning their rights

In the EU, the guiding principle behind the rights of disabled people is non-discrimination in both social and professional life. However, in order for visually impaired people to enjoy their rights completely, everyone in society must be fully informed, not just the visually impaired. The Information and Communication Project for the Blind is a successful starting point for the first of many steps needed to be taken in Turkey regarding the issue.
