FOČA 08 - European street football festival: Passion, fun and fair play in Bosnia and Herzegovina

From May 22nd to 25th, young people from countries across Europe will come together in Foča, Bosnia and Herzegovina for the first European Street Football Festival. The team Sokak Ligi (Street League) will take part in the tournament from Turkey.

The festival is organised by Non Governmental Organisations "streetfootballworld" (Berlin, Germany) and its partner Football Friends (Serbia) together with the European Commission, Directorate-General for Enlargement. Foča 08 is not just about playing football, but also aiming at fostering intercultural dialogue. “This is a unique sports event bringing together young people from all over Europe who enjoy playing street football”, noted Olli Rehn, EU Commissioner for Enlargement.
