“Bridges of Knowledge” enhance inter-society dialogue
The Bridges of Knowledge Programme is the first contribution to Turkey's accession process from a civil society dialogue perspective. The programme strives to enhance cooperation between Turkish institutions and their European counterparts in order to develop expertise for the adoption and implementation of the EU acquis.
The implementation component of the 27 projects, conducted and completed under the Bridges of Knowledge Programme, have facilitated creation of long-term partnerships, and at the same time have published books and leaflets about various policy areas of the EU. 37 books have been published through the projects, covering various policy areas of the EU acquis such as the environment, culture, telecommunication, transportation, forestry, fisheries and energy.
As an EU-funded project success story, the Kriter Magazine covers the “the Bridges of Knowledge Programme” in its April issue. Please click here to read the full article.
