EUROMED AUDIOVISUAL II Programme offers opportunities for professionals from Mediterranean

The year 2005 marked the 10th Anniversary of the Barcelona Conference in which Foreign Affairs Ministers from the EU and 12 Mediterranean Partners (Algeria, Cyprus, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Malta, Morocco, the Palestinian Authority, Syria, Tunisia and Turkey) agreed to form the Euro-Mediterranean Partnership to nurture closer economic and cultural ties between the southern Mediterranean and Europe.

The European Commission launched the regional Euromed Audiovisual I Programme in 2000 and the current Euromed Audiovisual II Programme in 2006 aiming at enhancing euro-mediterranean audiovisual co-operation. The Euromed Audiovisual II Programme offers a range of opportunities for film and audiovisual professionals from the region.

AFIC 2008: Apply now for audiovisual financing and marketing seminar
For MEDA professionals wishing to participate in the AFIC (Audiovisual Financing and Commercialisation) seminars to be held in Paris at the Sorbonne University and at INA from 14 to 23 July 2008, applications must be received before 30 April 2008. Read more ...
