The European Commission has launched a special website as part of its activities to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Treaty of Rome which led to the creation of the European family.

The new website provides detailed information on the celebrations to be held across Europe along with special publications for the public. It is also possible to find out about the achievements of the EU within 50 years and learn about the plans for the next 50 years. The site also includes information about the EU and its institutions as well as quizzes and games.
