A Contemporary Art Exhibition at the European Union Information Centre: “GET CLOSER!”
The European Union Information Center (EUIC) in Istanbul hosts the “Get Closer!” contemporary art exhibition by a young artist: Asli Deniz Helvacioglu. The exhibition will be composed of her works on the theme “Intercultural Dialogue”.
The exhibition opening was held on July 10th, Tuesday and will be open to the public for 15 days. During the opening, Aslı Deniz Helvacıoğlu received a plaquette from the Delegation of the European Commission to Turkey; thanks to the bridge of art she has established between two cultures.
As a part of the opening programme, Mrs. Selda Paydak, informed the participants on the Communication and Information programme implemented by the EC Delegation to Turkey. Later on Mrs. Seda Erden, Sector Manager gave information on the cultural projects in Turkey that are funded and supported by the EC Delegation to Turkey.
On the same day afternoon, the exhibition programme continued with a seminar by Team Europe Member, Assoc.Prof.Hakan Yılmaz: “Europe and Turkey: How Close Can They Get?”
