Prizes

• The winner of the first prize was awarded a Nikon D300 camera and lenses.
• The first runner-up awarded a Nikon D200 camera and lenses.
• The second runner-up awarded a Nikon D40X camera and lenses.

The winners also received a one-year subscription to the National Geographic Turkey Magazine.

Throughout the competition, there was also be public voting through the website, www.avrupa.info.tr. As a result of this voting, winners of the week and the month were selected.

• The winners of the week were awarded the publication: Global Warming Atlas.
• The winners of the month were awarded the books: March of the Penguins and Wild Life.
• At the end of the competition, the owner of the photo that received the highest number of votes was awarded a two-year subscription to the National Geographic Turkey Magazine.
