The projects supported under EIDHR are selected through the call for proposals published in this website or EuropeAid website of the European Commission.
Applications are made in three main steps:
As a first step in submitting a project application, organisations applying for grants need to register in the "Potential Applicant Data Online Registration (PADOR) database. If an organisation is already registered in PADOR, then it needs to update the relevant information on PADOR. As the second step, the organisation needs to prepare -as described in the Guidelines for Applicants- a “concept note” which summarises its proposed project. The European Commission then evaluates the submitted concept notes and those organisations whose concept notes are selected in the initial evaluation process are then asked to submit a full application, which constitutes the third step. The European Commission carries out an evaluation of the full applications. Those applications selected at the end of this evaluation are considered as ‘conditionally selected’. Following the submission of supporting documents, grant contracting process is initiated between the organisation and the European Commission.
