10th European Union Human Rights Film Competition
Point Your Camera at Human Rights!
For exactly 10 years now, the Delegation of the European Union to Turkey has organized the EU Human Rights Short Film Competition in Turkey on the anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
We invite you to leverage the medium of film to express your views on the concept of inalienable and non-transferable human rights as laid out in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights with a view to enabling all individuals to live their lives in dignity.
This year, the Delegation of the European Union to Turkey will also award original short films that encourage people to think about gender equality.
Amateur and professional filmmakers may submit their entries online until 20 November 2020, 18:00. These short films, which can be based on any genre or technique, must have a duration of between 3 to 10 minutes. Join us in launching a joint discussion on the issue of human rights.
Submit your entries to firstname.lastname@example.org . You can download the terms and conditions for taking part in the competition and the entry form using the link provided at the end of this text.
Submitted entries will be subject to preliminary elimination and a final jury will decide which 10 entries compete in the Human Rights category and which 5 films compete in the Gender Equality category in the final.
