  The Rome-based Istituto Affari Internazionali (IAI) and the Ankara-based Economic Policy Research Foundation of Türkiye (TEPAV) in close cooperation with the European Parliament Brussels Information Office will hold the meeting “Talking Türkiye” to foster in-depth dialogue on EU-Türkiye relations. The event will take place on 3 October 2007 in the European Parliament, room ASP 5G2. The meeting will be held in English with interpretation from and into Turkish.

A contemporary art exhibition by Aslı Deniz Helvacıoğlu, titled “Get Closer,” can be seen in Ankara European Union Information Centre (EUIC) Ankara until October 20. Helvacıoğlu, a young artist and academic of European Union law at Boğaziçi University, attended the opening of the exhibition and organized a “drawing workshop” for the art students based in Ankara.
