Born in 1991 in Istanbul. In 2011, he started studying at Dokuz Eylül University Fine Arts Faculty, Film Design department. He worked as an assistant director in many TV series. He directed four short films.

Erdem goes to high school. The principle warns him to cut his hair to obey the school rules. When his parents also make pressure on him for the same reasons, he hesitates as the girl he likes prefers his long hair.

Born in Ankara in 1986. He studied Maritime Business at Southampton Solent University. In 2012 he moved to New York and completed the film-making course at New York Film Academy. He continues to work in Istanbul as a commercial and film director.

A refugee boy is peddling around, hears some music from afar. Each beat attracts him closer to the crowd gathered around a street musician. Meanwhile, a security guard is working on his day shift. The guard and the boy will not only end up in the same scene, but they will also be sharing the same staggering fate under the heavy weight of social class.

Born in Mardin in 1971. He graduated from Çukurova University Painting Department. He works on video based installations and has participated in group exhibitions in Turkey and abroad. In 2005 he participated in the International Artists Studio Program at Rooseum Center in Malmö. In 2008 he participated in the Can Xalant exchange program at the Center for Creating and Contemporary Thought in Barcelona. In 2016 he participated in PM/HIAP Safe Haven Helsinki residence program at Suomenlinna. He has also participated in many workshops in Beirut, Damascus, Diyarbakır, Enschede, Khartoum and Taipei. He has given lectures on contemporary art in Turkey and abroad. He is one of the founders of Loading Independent Art Space established in Diyarbakır in 2017.

Focusing on 13-year-old boy Muhammed, who flees from Kobani, a village over the Turkish border to Syria, which was besieged by ISIL in January 2015, this video make us think on the inexpressibleness of the trauma. Deaf and mute Muhammed can only use his body to express the traumatic experiences he has faced.

Born in Istanbul in 1992. After finishing the Fine Arts High School she graduated from the Department of Dramaturgy and Theatre Criticism in Istanbul University. She took part as a starring actress in the movie “The Blue Wave” in 2013. She shot and edited her first feature documentary “I’ve Found a Slogan: My Mother Is with Me” with her crew in 2014. Ground Level is her first short film. Currently, she pursues an MA degree in Kadır Has University’s Department of Film and Drama.

Is it beyond ethical boundaries or a legitimate right to demand one’s wage during a funeral? The old lady that Sevim nursed is dead. She has to demand her wage which is already belated for a few days. This wage issue that Sevim tried to delicately raise all day becomes a huge incident for this upper-middle-class family due to the uncertainty of the payer of this month among the family members.

Born in Malatya. She had her Master’s Degree from Marmara University, Department of International Economy. She worked for various short and documentary film projects.

The films tells the story of five young girls, who gave their heart to skiing and continued their lives with the successes they achieved from this sport; their struggle to realize their future dreams; whatever the problems they face, the conflicts of life they have committed with determination; and how effective is skiing in their conversion to independent individuals who stand on their own feet. The stories of their beginning of skiing, which they describe as the “saviour” of their lives; joys, sorrows meet with the audience with the impressive views from Sarıkamış.

She graduated from the Management of Performing Arts Department of Beykent University. She worked as an actress and director at private theatres. She has books and collected works named From Tale to Play, Soap Opera, The Kumbaracı Slope Children, Children’s Street Plays in Mardin & Diyarbakır and Tales of Eğin. Currently, she gives practical seminars as a corporate lecturer using drama as a method.

Zelal, who lost her husband, lives with her son, İbo. She earns her living by babysitting a child in her home. She never goes out; her world is reduced to her home. One day her friend Seher asks her to replace her at work. And there, Zelal faces a thing she had forgotten.

Selected as the Best Short Film in The National Short Film Competition organized within the 2017 Istanbul Film Festival.
