Since its foundation the Association has also been carrying out extensive efforts on disabled rights against all laws in force, including the local administrations law, education law, labour code, retirement law, tax deduction law as well as law no: 2022.

It has established 65 branch offices across Turkey to raise the awareness of the entire society, to inform the public opinion and to ensure the dissemination of services throughout the country. In 1991, it issued a monthly periodical called "Sevgi Çemberi" explaining the problems of disabled persons and pursued their constitutional rights. In 2008, the periodical was renamed as TSDFORUM.

The association is also providing services through its website www.tsd.org.tr which provides an update of the rights of disabled persons at home and abroad, the novelties in this field and laws. The website is visited by 500 persons on average a day and responds to their queries sent by mail.
