Main objectives

The overall objective is to improve the health status of Syrian population under temporary protection in Turkey. The specific objectives are to support the Ministry of Health in its effort to provide – directly or under its supervision - adequate access to emergency, preventive, primary and secondary health care to Syrian refugees and, where relevant, host communities; to ensure the availability of and access to healthcare services in provinces with the highest proportion of Syrian people; and to ensure increase in demand to healthcare services by Syrian population by end of 2019.

Location

Turkey and in priority (but not restricted to) the provinces of Adana; Adıyaman; Bursa; Hatay; İzmir; İstanbul; Gaziantep; Mardin; Mersin; Kahramanmaraş; Kilis; Osmaniye; Şanlıurfa.
