“Southeast Anatolia Guide – Panorama of Civilizations" has been awarded as the third best Culinary Travel Book in the World where 6.000 books were received, from 107 countries. The publication has been produced by Gaziantep Chamber of Commerce under the EU funded South-eastern Anatolia Project.
Supported by the European Union, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the South-eastern Anatolia Project (GAP) Regional Development Administration of Turkey, this region is next to Syria, with 5 provinces, with culinary and local art treasures. For some 8000 years, the Tigris and Euphrates have shared the lifestyle and culture of this region, where civilizations meet.
