Synopsis: The #Fridays4Future movement, which started with Greta Thunbergand actions against the climate crisis initiated by children also spread to Turkey. During the first global climate strike on March 15, hundreds of children and adults took action with banners in Bebek Park in Istanbul, with the call of Atlas Sarrafoğlu. We Want Our Future! documentary offers these reflections and perspectives on children's climate crisis in Turkey to the audience.
Director’s bio: Atom Şaşkal was born in 1996 in Istanbul. After completing his high school education at Private Üsküdar American High School, he graduated from Koç University Media and Visual Arts department. We Want Our Future! is his third documentary film.
